Cancellation Policy for ToursOfGuides

Welcome to ToursOfGuides, where we connect travelers with expert guides to create unforgettable travel experiences. Please review our cancellation policy to understand the terms of making and canceling bookings through our platform.

1. Service Fee and Payment Structure:

• Service Fee: At the time of booking, we charge a non-refundable service fee equal to 20% of the booking cost. This fee is required to secure your reservation with the chosen guide and cover administrative costs on the ToursOfGuides platform.
  
  
• Remaining Payment: The remaining balance of the tour cost will be paid directly to the guide in cash on the day of the tour.

1. Guide-Set Cancellation Policies:

• Guide Authority: On our platform, each guide has its own cancellation policy. The guides independently determine these policies, which may vary.
  
  If the guide you booked does not arrive on the tour, we will replace him or her with another guide, or we will pay you the service fee, which is 20%.
  
  
• Platform’s Role: ToursOfGuides does not manage or enforce the cancellation policies set by guides. We only facilitate the booking process and ensure clear communication between travelers and guides.

1. Traveler Responsibilities:

• Understanding Policies: Travelers are responsible for reviewing and agreeing to the cancellation policy of their chosen guide prior to booking.
  
  
• Preparation for Payment: Travelers should prepare to fulfill the remaining payment in cash as agreed upon with the guide, unless otherwise specified in the guide’s personal terms.

1. No Refunds by ToursOfGuides:

• As the service fee is non-refundable, ToursOfGuides does not process refunds for this part of the booking amount under any circumstances. Each guide’s cancellation policy should guide the resolution of refund issues for any additional payments made directly to them.

1. Assistance in Disputes:

• While ToursOfGuides does not intervene in disputes related to cancellations and refunds, our customer service team is available to help facilitate communication between travelers and guides to reach a resolution, if necessary.
